Rain Checks RULE!! 5/10/11
We had an old rain check for ground beef at Food Lion. It was Buy One Pound Get One Free. The lady that gave me the rain check did not put a price per pound on it. We remember it was for less than $2 a pound, but not sure exactly how much. Food Lion had a sale for $1.67/pound. Time to cash in the rain check! It took a few minutes to get approval from the manager, but she rang me up. We got 31 pounds of hamburger!
